Our service

BrodexTrident provide a full range of water hygiene services, including water system disinfection and TMV servicing, that will help protect your residents against Legionnaires' Disease and other water borne infections.

Advanced age, chronic illness and a weakened immune system can all contribute to a person's susceptibility to Legionnaires' Disease. As such, those in the social care sector should regularly assess the risk of legionella on their premises, as well as implement precautionary and remedial measures to preven the bacteria from growing.

Another factor that you must consider, alongside preventing the risk of legionella, is the risk of scalding. This must be included in your legionella risk assessment documentation. Those susceptible to the risk of scalding include people who are disabled or elderly, young children and those with sensory loss for whom the risk is greater.
