Water treatment specialist Brodex Ltd has announced the acquisition of Kent-based Bayly Environmental Services as part of a continued national expansion of its services.

The company will now oversee the running of Bayly’s South-East operations, with sales and services based at Bayly’s headquarters in Dartford, Kent.

This will include delivering Legionella risk assessment and control measures, as well as water treatment and hygiene services, following confirmation of the acquisition this month.

The announcement follows a strong period of trading and continued expansion for Brodex. Earlier this year the company, whose head office is based in the North West, opened a new office in Bristol, to serve their customer base in the South West. This followed the further development of their Midlands office in Nottingham and an increase in the total number of its engineering, sales and customer support staff.

Brodex managing director Geoff Shalders said: “Our aim is to provide a nationwide network of water treatment specialists, bringing us closer to our customers and prospects. The acquisition strengthens our existing footprint in the South East and the combined resources of the two companies will allow us to further develop our supplier partnerships in order for us to better service our expanding customer base in the area.”
