Microbiological & Legionella Testing

BrodexTrident provide water sampling services for a wide variety of water systems, including those found in domestic and commercial buildings. All our water samples are tested to UKAS standards by independent laboratories with certificates issued to our clients.

Our service

The process of water sampling involves two essential stages; taking an accurate water sample and producing a high quality analysis of this sample. Our professional service is conducted in compliance with both British Standards and Guidance and European and UK legislation. All our Engineers are trained to carry out water sampling according to UKAS standards, which minimises the risk of the water sample being altered before undergoing testing.

 

We can provide water testing for the following:

  • Legionella
  • TACC / TVC
  • E.coli (Escherichia coli)
  • Coliforms
  • Pseudomonas Aeruginosa

BrodexTrident recommend routine water testing of your site is carried out to determine your water quality throughout the system and to easily demonstrate that it meets legal requirements.

What we do

  • Sterile water sample bottle is used for collection, with care being taken to avoid contact with the tap or any other contaminants, and the sample is quickly secured.
  • The sample is labelled and worksheet completed before sample is sent out to an independent, UKAS-accredited laboratory. This is done with 24 hours of the sample being taken to ensure that it means UKAS standards.
  • As sample results become available, the administration team uploads certificates to our Client Portal.
  • Any abnormal readings identified during testing will be highlighted to the company as soon as possible, with advise from our consultants on the best course of action.
