WordPress – Cookies Policy

The Brodex Water Treatment website uses the WordPress platform. This requires the use of certain cookies to improve the user experience for our visitors.

The life span of these cookies are:

viewed_cookie_policy for 1 day

wordpress_test_cookie persists for the duration of the visit to the website

CANDDi – Cookies Policy

The Brodexuk.com website uses CANDDi tracking to understand who has visited the website, which pages they have viewed and the number of times they have visited. In normal working usage CANDDi places two first-party cookies on a visitor’s machine

_CAN_BId – This is the User Identification cookie. This holds a unique (32-character) reference which identifies this visitor each time that they return to our site. This cookie is held for a 10-year duration. In reality users upgrade their browsers (which clears their cookies) within this time.

CAN_SId – This is the Session Identification cookie. This holds a unique (32-character) reference which allows CANDDi to relate all the current tracking to a single Session. This cookie is held for 30-minutes

CANDDi cal also place some CAN_Store_xxx cookies. These are temporary cookies which CANDDi uses to ensure that the data which has been captured is recorded and transmitted to the CANDDi servers. These cookies are deleted after a positive response is received from the CANDDi tracking servers.

Google Analytics – Cookies Policy

We use Google Analytics to enable us to work out what pages on our web site are being used and which pages are not. This allows us to improve the content on pages which are not viewed or potentially archive them off. We do not get access to or use any personal information. The cookies generated by Google have the following extensions _utma, _utmb, _utmc, _utmz. These cookies collect information in an anonymous form including such things as the number of visitors to the site, the number of times a page was viewed within a month etc.

The life span of these cookies are:

_utma persists for 2 years
_utmb persists for 1 day
_utmc persists for the duration of the visit to the website
_utmz persists for 8 months
_ga persists for 1 year
